dhb Pace SuperRoubaix Windproof Padded Bib Tight: Our warmest Super Roubaix Bib Tights for coldest conditions. This premium product is a platform above our award winning dhb Merston range, featuring windproof knee panel and Italian Super Roubaix in the body - the daddy of winter brushed fabrics. This is the daddy of winter brushed fabrics, the one all others quote, but don't always use. We are using the 245g fabric with the additional extra protection of a Windtex panel to protect the delicate knee joint and to ensure that the synovial fluid is kept at its optimum working temperature. The shape of the bib tight is shared with the Pace Roubaix as this has been optimised for fast riding and long hours in the saddle. The Super Roubaix allows you to tackle the colder weather, or just stay out for longer as the muscles are more protected from the elements. Not having to waste energy on having to heat the body means that every gram of carbohydrate can be unleashed through each pedal stroke. Unlike the Pace Roubaix Bib Tight the mesh back has been replaced with the Super Roubaix so that the body is cocooned in a girdle of Italian warmth. These bib tights offer the highest level of comfort afforded by the new CyTech Tour chamois. Foot loops ensure that there are no gaps for the wind to bring a chill to your bone, while at the same time keeping the tight in place and removing the chance of it riding up on different width ankles. Reflective tabs on the rear aid visibility in traffic and are subtle enough not to detract from the stealth. The Natures Call long access zip on the front of the tight is there for when an emergency toilet stop is required mid ride.
